Could it be true? Could the 72 Clark Street restaurant curse be over at long last?
My ears perked up when I heard rumblings that the owners of the beloved Brooklyn Heights Tazza Bakery Enoteca were planning on opening a second branch in the nabe. Now, word on the street is that new location is going to be across from the 2/3 Clark Street subway stop and the St. George Hotel dormitories.
If it is true, North Brooklyn Heights residents may finally have the all-day, all-night hang they've long deserved -- not to mention a long-term tenant in the long-empty 72 Clark Street restaurant space.
Please don't. One is enough!
