My colleague Belle was chewing quite a stick of gum today - Trident Tropical Twist. Now, I'm not a gum chewer, but the fresh, citrusy scent was amazing. Really amazing. Just gorgeous. Never really thought of gum as serving a higher gourmet purpose. Its existence seemed confined to serving as the conduit for sickly sweet bubblegum flavor or something intensely minty for freshening breath.
Could it be that gum has more to offer?
Hmm...Now I'm wondering if I can get my hands on some interesting recipes for gum. Heck, if I can make Saffron Cardamom Pistachio Ice Cream, how about Ginger Mango Gum?
