Sounds like the perfect vacation: Guinness.

When I was in Dublin in summer '01, I had great Chicken Kiev (with vodka inside instead of butter) at the restaurant about the Cat & Cage on Drumcondra, north of the city centre. Take O'Connell St. north until Drumcondra, turn Right and walk a half a mile (whatever in kilos) and it's across from St. Pat's Teacher's College. Can't speak to it since then, but it was dynamite. And the Cat & Cage pub is mighty nice too.

Cheers!

Sarah

Have a great trip. I'd love to hear all about it. My husband and I are planning a trip to Ireland for 10-days this fall and I need loads of suggestions! I don't trust travel books one bit. Enjoy!

Don't forget The Stag's Head...

It's near the Temple Bar area, but not in the really trendy spot...
