Not running for office - yet. But, I did get an intriguing event invite from a gent named Gur Tsabar that is putting his name on the ballot for a city councilman slot from District 2 in Manhattan.
Can't speak to his stance on the issues that impact the diverse downtown district, which includes Murray Hill, Union Square, Gramercy Park, Kip's Bay,the East Village, the Alphabets and portions of the Lower East Side. (Thinking that my ignorance is excusable, since I live in Brooklyn.) But I must give the candidate kudos for his gourmet platform, at least on the fundraising event front:
